I Should Probably Be Doing My Homework...

...But instead, I'm going to write!! :D About what, you might ask? Well, I shall be writing about...SPRING BANQUET.

Yup, Spring Banquet. (If you haven't guessed, that's me in the pink dress :P). The funny thing is that I HATE the color pink. But, I got over it because I LOVE the style of the dress. And it went with the theme. The theme of this banquet was Board Games. So, me and my date Sean went as....

...LIFE!!!! :D Going as generic pink female and generic blue male, we went to banquet as the Game of Life. And to tell you the truth, it was a lot of fun. ^_^ Yes, walking in very high heels felt life-threatening to me, especially going down the stairs, but I loved getting to just dress up, and actually feel beautiful. (I don't have very good self-esteem, if you didn't already know :P). They had a cake that was decorated to look like the game Candy Land!! In fact, some of my friends dressed up to be Candy Land characters. Others included Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego, Memory, and Clue. It was a lot of fun. :D My most epic friend Lauren actually won the game of Life. We are definitely going to have to play it sometime soon.

Yeah, don't ask about the Pineapple. I don't really feel like going into the details. :P Lolz. May I just say that these two people, Lauren Kalman and Joshua Mills, are probably two of the greatest people I've ever met. I'm serious when I say that without them, I think banquet would've been a lot less exciting. I think I feel the closest to these two. :) Yeah, I consider them to be my two best friends here. (Not that they are my only best friends, but they are definitely at the top of my list.) I love just getting to hang out with these two. I don't think there is ever a dull moment, and it's fun to hang out with them together, or even separate. I love the long talks that I get to have with Lauren (and I'm looking forward to going home with her for Spring Break) and Josh is just a great guy and is fun to be around. ^_^ I wish that everyone that I knew could meet these two. They have made such a huge impact in my life, that's for sure, and it's definitely a good impact. :D You know, it is going to be a sad day when they graduate and I'm left here for another semester/year finishing up my degree. Things just aren't going to be the same on this campus without them. :( I'll feel like I'm losing a big part of myself. I guess that shows how much I value their friendship in my life.....

.....Okay, now I'm starting to sound all depressed....which is not what I wanted to do. So...umm....here is an epic picture of some people that I hold dear and that I love!

I adore all of these loverly ladies (excluding me). Not only are they my dorm mates/ hall mates/ roommates, but they are my sisters. :D They brighten up my life, and I'm so glad to know each and every one of them.

So, to wrap things up, after banquet, we went and saw Unknown. It was totally epic!!!! Of course, anything with Liam Neeson is amazing.

Well, I shall be off now, for I have a date with some friends and Indiana Jones! (I've been officially introduced to him this past week. We're watching the third one tonight. :D) Good night all!!!

P.S. I love being introduced to movies. It makes me so happy to finally be in the loop on things like movies...and books....and music! Especially music!!! Which is why I love getting mix CDs. ^_^
