Hello all!!!!!! :D I must say, I am in one of the best moods ever for this late at night!! ^_^ This weekend has just been phenomenal! If you saw me at the moment, you wouldn't be able to tell cause I'm starting to get sleepy, but on the inside, I am still just so happy and excited and feeling all around wonderful!
The main reason for this is from tonight, but I should build up from Friday night, so I think I will. So, Friday night was our Fall Showcase, in which the Fall Chorale sang....and we sounded amazing!!! I got to see my family, and my grandmother, and two of the guys from my youth group who are like my little brothers. :) I spent the night in Kayla's room as well. Friday was an overall good day, even though I was running on a total of four hours of sleep because of English homework.
Saturday was shopping day, and I got a manga, some Jack Skellington gloves, a Rock Lee keychain, three new rings for me to wear, some pairs of earrings, a bracelet, two jackets (one denim and one just pure awesomeness) and four or five shirts! Let me tell you what guys, I feel so pretty in my new clothes. Also, Lauren gave me one of her headbands that she didn't want anymore, and it looks really nice on me. We also went to a haunted house and a haunted hayride, and both of them were very fun. :)
So, today, I went to another new church. It was a denomination that I've never been to before, but I overall enjoyed the service and will probably go back at least because I felt like I could really worship the Lord there during the worship part of the service. I wore a lot of my new clothing, and I felt pretty all day! :D Testify rehearsal went great, and then, I did something I've never done before.
Every Sunday night, there is swing dancing off campus in Dayton, and I finally went! It was sooooo much fun!!!! My "big brother" Tim danced with me first and showed me some of the basics, which was fun learning from him since he is my big brother and all. :) Then, my great friend Adam asked me to dance with him and he showed me some more moves. Then, Paul asked me to dance with him and I learned even more moves!!
Getting to dance with all three of them was fun, but what made me feel so happy is the fact that they asked me at all. I never would've thought that I would be asked to dance, and yet I was asked three times! I'm really having to learn to stop being so self-conscious about myself and to stop putting myself down like I've come to notice I do, even if it's not out loud. I constantly tell myself that I'm not pretty, and yet many of my guy friends say quite often that I am. Why I keep not believing them is a mystery to me, cause I know that they wouldn't lie to me. I think that over my time here at Bryan, I will come to like myself (more in the looks department than anywhere else) a lot more than I have in the past or even now. :)
Well, I think that's about it for tonight. I should probably go to bed....I just need to make it through the week, then a Testify performance on Friday, then go home (and bringing Desirae with me) and see my wonderful Jet Theatrix peeps on Saturday. :D
Love you all!! Have a wonderful night (or day...whichever it is when you read this...lolz).

Sink Me! I Seem To Be Back On The Hill!
Yes, that's right folks!!! I'm back on the hill!!! And let me tell you, it feels so great to be back. ^_^ I have missed this hill sooooo much!!! And guess what? To make things better, today has been a marvelous first full day back. :D
At first, it didn't seem this way. I had to wake up earlier to finish some homework and at breakfast they didn't have any gravy for the biscuits, but that was small in comparison. I wasn't tired during Music Theory this morning, which was a blessing. Normally, I'm having to force my eyes to stay open; not because it's boring, but because I'm normally so tired that they want to shut. Then, a miraculous thing occurred! In English, I got my second essay back, and I got a B on it!!!!! I have never been so happy to get a B on something in my life.
Chapel service was good, and the food wasn't too bad for lunch. :) Chorale rehearsal was fun, and Keyboard Proficiency was actually interesting today. I normally get really bored in there, but I found myself to be more awake and not too bored. :D Afterwards, I hung out with my friend Wendy, and from her I have received a most wonderful thing!! I now have the soundtracks for Mulan and Hercules on my laptop!!!!! Hooray for Disney music!! ^_^
Then, to make things better, Lauren bought me some McDonalds while she was at Walmart. Yummy!! A little while later, Lauren, Kayla, Josh, and I hung out at the grassy bowl. It was pretty fun. Then, (this is where the first part of the title comes into play), I watched "The Scarlet Pimpernel" with Katherine, Brenna, Lauren, Desirae, and Elisa! Anthony Andrews did an amazing job as Sir Percy/The Scarlet Pimpernel (and Sink Me is one of the phrases that he says a lot in the movie). Also, Ian McKellen plays the bad guy in it....and he's younger!!!.....and has brown hair!!!! It was super special awesomely epic, a perfect way to end my night with friends before coming to my room and sharing all of this with you, my readers. (Side note: After watching this movie again....I want to see the musical REALLY BADLY!....Yes, in case you didn't know, they made a musical.....and I am now craving to see it!)
Well, that is my major update for now. I should probably head to bed....I have another busy day ahead of me. :) Farewell!!

There's No Place Like Home!
Well, it's finally here!! Yes, it's Fall Break. :D And it feels soooooooo good being home! I've already seen most of my super special awesomely epic friends, and I have one of my friends from school here with me. :) It's nice to finally take a break, be with my family, see my friends, and go to my home church. It is amazing how wonderful it feels to sleep in my own bed in my own house. I love getting to eat real food again!!! :D
But.....
I do miss my college friends. I miss the insane randomness that I get during the day from quite a few of my friends. I miss the beautiful campus of Bryan College. I miss the atmosphere. (I don't really miss the cafeteria food all that much though lolz.) I miss the quality time I get with my friends on campus and the fun times we have, especially on the weekends. I miss a few of my classes, like my music classes and my Christian Worldview class. I have become quite attached to my college family at Bryan.
So each place that I'm in, I'm in a win/lose situation. At Bryan, I'm with my college family and I miss my family and friends here, but when I'm here, I'm with my family and friends and miss my college family. That's life I guess. :P
And you know what else? It pains me to know that I'm leaving on Sunday. I want to see my college family again, I really do, but there are things here that I just don't want to leave. I don't want to leave my youth group again. I kind of don't want to leave my family, especially my Dad. I miss him the most when I'm gone. I don't here from him very often because he's giving me my space and freedom, but I love it when he does call me. Also, one of my dear friends is going through some things.......and I can't stand to leave and not be able to be here for her. I can do my best while I'm gone, but I can't stand not actually being there for her. :( I don't know what all is going on, but I want to be there for her as much as possible. And I can't stand leaving my other friends too....cause I can't actually BE there for them when they are going through hard times. Downsides of college, of going away, is that I can't BE there for my friends. :)
Well, I guess that's all I have to say for today. Hopefully, I'll write again before I go back home.
Love you all!!!

Alas, a new week is beginning.....but Fall Break starts Friday! :D
Hey all you readers! So I know that I haven't written in a while....yeah, I had a super busy week this week, and when I say busy, I mean busy! Homecoming was this week, plus I had a Western Civ paper that was due Friday. Ugh......that class stresses me out to the max.
In fact, it stressed me out so much, I had an emotional breakdown Wednesday. I just started crying and crying. Taking 19 credit hours this semester is no easy walk in the park, but Western Civ is just pushing it way too much. There is good that came out of it though. I had friends with me when it happened. My friends Lauren, Kayla, and Josh were there to comfort me (and in Josh's case to make me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe.) I almost never cry in front of people. I am the one people go to when they need to cry about something, not the other way around. But this showed me that it really is okay to rely on my friends to be there for me when I really need them.
So for some fun stuff, our dress-up days for homecoming week and what i did for dressing up is as follows:
Monday - Color Day - Freshmen were green, so I wore a ton of green.
Tuesday - Pajama Day - Yeah, that one is pretty obvious.
Wednesday - Character Day - I dressed up as an angel, with the halo and wings and everything. :D
Thursday - Holi-Day - Yeah, so because of Wednesday night, I didn't really dress up for this one, but I though about going for the Festival of Extraterrestrial Abductions.
Friday - Bryan Lion Day - Wore Bryan College apparel.
So, one last thought before I go to bed. Friday is the last day of classes before Fall Break, and I'm SOOOO excited! I'm bringing home two of my friends, Desirae and Kayla. We are pretty excited about it. I can't wait to see all my youth peeps, but I will miss my college peeps too.....like the deep, deep discussions that we have at meals (yeah right).
Well, that's all I have for tonight...except for one more final thought!
We had about a ten minute power outage, and the stars looked so beautiful in the dark! I could see so many stars that I normally couldn't cause of the lights on campus. It was a beautiful sight. Also, I went shopping today and got: a new sweater for fall, the Good Burger movie soundtrack, The Prince of Egypt movie soundtrack, an Angry Beavers wristband, the movie Spirited Away, and a Vincent Valentine plush toy!! ^_^ Yayz shopping!!! (P.S. Yolanda's mom is awesome!!!)
Okay, that's seriously it now. I'm done. Goodnight all, and have a great week! ^_^
