So....

Well, this is gonna be my first post. I want to give a brief summary of what this blog is about, in case the title doesn't say everything. :) This first year of college is going to be an exciting, yet terrifying experience for me. I'm going to be away from home, in a strange place around tons of people that I don't know. This is a scary thing for me personally. For those readers who don't know this, I am afraid of being alone. Not alone as in by myself and no one else around me, but alone as in tons of people around me that I don't know. I've moved a lot in my life, but most of the moves have been so sudden that by the time I get to a new place, the fear can't sink in cause people are already talking to me. But this time, it's different. I've had months for this fear to grow and hang over me. But even with this fear, I know that this is going to be a wonderful experience for me because I'm just one step closer to becoming what God wants me to be: a choir director. So, pretty much, this blog is not only to keep friends up-to-date with what's going on in my life, but I can come here and sort out feelings and just be myself. To everyone who ends up following me in this journey, please keep me in your prayers, cause I know I'm gonna need them. So join me in a roller coaster of ups and downs, happiness and stressfulness, and altogether an experience that I know I'll never ever forget.
