My First Day of Classes
So, today I had my first classes: Music Theory, Freshman English, and Western Civ 1. Overall, I think I'll do fine. I just have to get past the scariness of so much homework and essays (well, except in Music Theory). Also, we had our first Bryan Chorale rehearsal today, in which I am in...the Soprano section. Odd, but I'll get over it. The service tonight was absolutely outstanding. We are having a Spiritual Life Conference, and the music and speaker are all outstanding. Well, afterwards, we had our Freshman Comissioning, which isn't what most people would think it would be. The Seniors washed our feet and then prayed with us. I almost cried. Afterwards, one of the girls that prayed over me came up to me. She was also in the Bryan Chorale, and I had actually met her. Here's the cool thing: She is ALSO a Vocal Music Education major!! She is also doing what I'm seriously considering doing and is minoring in Bible. I found out from her that with the amount of required Bible classes that I automatically have to take, I would only need one more credit to minor in Bible! So I'm going to be looking into that. It's nights like tonight that I am so thankful to be here, but it was a little hard cause it was the first Wednesday night away from the youth group since I came here. :( I can feel that God is moving here and has wonderful things in store for me. Well, it's getting late, and I have an 8:30 class in the morning, so I'm gonna end it here. Let's see what the next few days hold for me. :)
